Happy New Year everyone! With 2020 behind us, let’s get ready for a fresh new year. Here’s a preview of what our blog has in store.
Urban Observations
Yep. We will continue to bring you weekly urban observations. We think that it is an important aspect of urban evolution research. In fact, the step in the scientific method is to make an observation! Also, in years past, biologists used to think that urban areas were islands of no flora or fauna, and thus not worthy of research. We hope that these many weekly observations have shown that there is vast diversity of plants and animals that live in cities.
New Research
We always welcome contributors to share their new research with us. Also, we have a Special Issue coming out soon in Evolutionary Applications that we will share each of the articles in.
Database
Our blog is looking into database options. We are working towards putting together a database of the past and current research in urban evolution.
We look forward to all the great new ideas and research of the new year!
