Evolution 2021! Day 5

The annual Evolution meeting (ASN, SSE, SSB) officially kicked off Monday (virtually)! If you are presenting, consider writing a short summary of your talk for the blog (as we have done in the past for in-person conferences). And if you’re attending, we’ve got you covered here with a list of do-not-miss urban evolution talks! (As always, let us know what we forgot so we can add it to our list). Sadly, it’s the last day of the conference and we are not aware of any urban evolution talks today… BUT don’t miss out on these “on demand” talks before the end of the meeting:

Friday, Day #5

*all times in EDT, eastern US time zone

John McCormack (Occidental College): Using historical specimens to detect anthropogenic hybridization between two Amazona parrot sister-species introduced to Southern California
Alice Palmer (University of Massachusetts, Boston): Surviving in an urban salt marsh: the effects of soil contamination on halophyte Salicornia depressa
Kristin Winchell
