Milestones and more
In 2019 we hit a lot of milestones. We turned 1 year old. We were featured in several major news outlets, including as a News Feature in PNAS, the Wildlife Society, and Wired Magazine! We reached over 13,000 visits since starting from (almost) every corner of the globe (we’re looking at you, Antarctica!). We welcomed new contributors and covered several major conferences, including SICB, IUWC, and Evolution. Here’s some additional highlights from 2019, starting with a wordcloud of all of the posts from 2019:
Top tweets of 2019
1. Karen Dyson and Carly Ziter who helped us learn how to conduct research on private property. This was our most-liked tweet of the year.
Thinking about conducting research on private property for #UrbanEcology & #UrbanEvolution research? @carlyziter & @_kdyson have put together a wonderfully thorough guide to get you started: https://t.co/mMTUZZMTng
